My work is informed by the beautiful light, the colours and the calm open expanse of the estuary on which I live. I am fascinated by the interplay of light and texture in the landscape, and the contrasts to be found at the boundaries of water, land and sky.
Whilst I have more recently been working with glass, I have a long standing love of textiles and the stitched mark. My current practice combines elements of kiln formed glass with found objects, printmaking and stitch.
