Red sky at night

Warm weather means beautiful western skies.

Red sky at night

  1. Was brought up to consider red sky at night was "Shepherd's delight", while red sky in the morning was "Shepherd's warning". Has certainly worked that way for me - in many countries! (e.g. Canada, India, South Africa and England). Must be something in it, I suppose.

    Love the photograph!

  2. Like Isobel says- Shepherds delights. Except the other day when it thundered all night and rained solidly all day. But then I wondered maybe shepherds like rain because it makes the grass grow? Who knows. This weather is too crazy to predict anyway. It was meant to snow the other week!

  3. Shepherds delight indeed. But the we quite often have lovely days which start with red sky in the morning... wouldn't it be boring if we always knew what was going to happen?!
