On the beach

We took some glass down to the beach, my son and I.  It wasn't the best of days for photography and there is a lot I'd do differently if we try again.  Take something heavy for a start to stop the bags and bubblewrap from taking off down the beach as soon as I'd taken the glass out!  But we got some nice shots (well, he did...)

  1. There's is an old photographer's adage; the more preposterous you look getting the shot, the better it will be for it' or something like that. ;-) The middle shot with the sun is especially good.

    1. Thank you, it's his favourite too, I'll pass your comment on. It was the only glimpse of sun we had all day, we'll have to try again on a better day. Maybe when the tide is not quite so far out, I was hoping for some watery reflections but the tide was well and truly out and when it is, it's a long long way!

  2. I love quirky shots.
Well done for braving the beach with all this wet weather we have had. Amazing how our children come in so handy with the weird and wonderful projects we set ourselves.
